Mitchell Cook is the academic specialist for the Wanda L. Bass School of Music and School of Theatre at ÃÛÌÒÓ°ÏñAV.

He is an arts administrator, educator, and performer based in Norman, OK. Originally from Garland, Texas, he moved to Oklahoma in 2017 and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Music Education and will soon complete his Master’s degree in Arts Management and Entrepreneurship, both from the University of Oklahoma.

Prior to his transition into arts administration, Mitchell served as a choral director in Norman Public Schools.

As a performer, Mitchell sings with Canterbury Voices, Canterbury Chamber Voices, and the Zielinski Singers. With these choirs, he has performed in collaboration with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, the Norman Philharmonic, and performed throughout Poland at the International Festival of Choral Song in Międzyzdroje, the International Festival of Organ and Chamber Music in Kamien Pomorski, the Akademia Sztuki in Szczecin, and the Collegium Polonicum in Słubice.

Mitchell is a hobby pianist and, on occasion, a choral, instrumental, and musical theatre accompanist.
