College rankings show ӰAV as top destination

The rankings are in, and ӰAV continues to stake its claim as one of the top private, not-for-profit universities in the nation.

In September, the college planning and information sites Niche and College Raptor each recognized ӰAV for its standing in various national rankings.

Niche’s rankings listed ӰAV as No. 25 in the nation on its list of Best Christian Colleges. The university also ranks No. 32 in Best Colleges for Music in America.

ӰAV also found itself in the top 10% of schools in America in Niche’s rankings in the following categories…

  • Best Small Colleges in America
  • Best Colleges for Performing Arts

…and in the top 20% in the country the following categories:

  • Best Colleges in America
  • Best Colleges for Music
  • Best Colleges for Nursing
  • Top Private Universities
  • Best Colleges for History
  • Best Test-Optional Colleges
  • Colleges with the Best Academics

In Oklahoma alone, ӰAV ranks in the top five in each of the following Niche rankings:

  • Best Colleges in Oklahoma
  • Best Christian Colleges

  • Best Colleges that Accept the Common App
  • Colleges with the Best Academics

Meanwhile, College Raptor named ӰAV the No. 1 Hidden Gem school in Oklahoma and included the university on its list of Southwest U.S. Colleges hidden gems.

According to College Raptor, “This selection recognizes ӰAV as one of the best colleges in the country, based on a combination of factors, including retention rates, graduation rates, student-to-faculty ratio, endowment per student, selectivity, and other key metrics as reported via the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) for the most recently available enrollment year.”
